  1. Sue Self says:

What do we wear to the clasd?

    • The Staff at The Belly Dance Studio says:

Hi Sue!!! Ladies are invited to wear what they are comfortable in. Some, in the past have worn burlesque-style costumes (corsets, hot pants, stockings and heels) however, most ladies that have attend the workshops have worn yoga pants and tank tops. Whatever you are comfortable in is fine! And if you can dance in heels, bring them. Most ladies have opted to wear low heels, dance shoes or dance barefoot. Tennis shoes are not allowed, you can hurt yourseelf when trying to make turns and other movements. They do not typically allow for the turns in dance. If you have any other Questions, please don;t hesitate to call the studio at 409-790-7669 Thanks!!!!
